This is not hocus pocus and you don’t have to change your religion to make it work. Liken it to praying with a strong belief for the best to come to pass.
Make sure that when you listen to these positive affirmations that you are truly in a receptive mode. This is not a time for skepticism or nay-saying when you are dealing with changing your future. So, begin to foresee your own outcome as favorable and the power of your mind can and will bring it about. Be alone and not distracted. Clear you head of any other concerns.
Just as a hypnotherapist would prepare a client for positive suggestion under hypnosis, you can prepare for a self induction. That is, focus completely on what you wish to come about. By all means, do not think about what you fear because fear tends to block the positive affirmations from penetrating your wrong thinking patterns.
Popular self help gurus of lifestyle coaching like Wayne Dyer understand the Power of Intention. Dyer proved it when he overcame the challenge of terminal cancer.
Weight trainers have a mantra, “mind on the muscle” when lifting weights because it has been proven that the mind plays a powerful role in actualizing physical goals.
Weight loss coaches use these lifestyle coaching tools for the obese and morbidly obese. The negative holding patterns of the past must first be broken before new patterns can then take place.
It all starts between the ears.
Actually, it can start in the ears when you make a routine of listening to attitude changing affirmations. Open your mind and set it on your heart’s desire.
Invoke the change to come about.
