The biking component is available as part of the program and adjusted to your ability level. All clients have access to biking instruction and guided rides as appropriate.
What to bring to the biking retreat
You will receive a helmet at the retreat. However, not all head shapes and equipment needs are the same. If you have a preferred helmet or require a specific fit or style, you are encouraged to bring your own.
Additional essentials include:
- visibility clothing
- padded bike shorts
- eye protection (goggles)
- gloves
- neck and face protection as needed
Once you arrive at Debra’s retreat, you will soon fall in love with your first vehicle. The bicycle. Your first taste of freedom happens on the bicycle.
Relive the wonderment of bicycling. Incorporate it into your recreational fitness plan for losing weight and keeping it off. Adults at the weight loss camp say that they haven’t biked in years and they love it again. When an activity gets you outdoors to achieve your fitness and weight loss goals, it is your new passion.
