The Bike Fitness Retreat Application is a readiness questionnaire.
Thanks for taking a few moments to share important information on your live-in and drop-in bike fitness retreat application. Essentially, this is your biking readiness report. So, it’s a way of knowing how best to start and help you toward your fitness and weight loss goals. As well, your bicycle safety is the focus while meeting these goals. Therefore, the more you tell me the better I can help.
League of American Bicyclists Award-Winning Bicycle Educator
Just so you know, yours truly is a national award-winning bicycle educator with the League of American Bicyclists. Therefore, you will be in good hands to learn more about bicycle safety, bike handling, and conditioning. In fact, I can’t wait to meet you and share my passion for biking in my backyard trails here in Henderson, Nevada, and Lake Mead National Park. We will bike across the Hoover Dam as your victory ride and maybe more!
Bike Retreat FAQs
Please review the Biking Retreat FAQ page (see FAQ menu for Biking) before filling out your Bike Fitness Retreat application details. You’ll find your bike retreat packing list and more “need-to-knows.” So, that’s definitely an important piece of your biking readiness!
More About Biking Attire
In addition to padded bike shorts, you will need eye and hand protection. The Bike League is keen on bicycle safety and bicycle protective gear. As a matter of fact, so am I. Here is my Smart Cycling YouTube playlist where I show and tell you.
Bicycle Helmets
You will receive your very own DOT brand new helmet to wear for your bike rides while here at my bike retreat and to take home afterward. The Nevada Department of Transportation wants every bicyclist to wear head protection, and so do I. You’ll watch me rant about all the reasons why everyone should wear a bicycle helmet on YouTube. If you want an in-person rant, just ask me when you are here!
